| Okay, so... The first week of school is going well. First two weeks, rather. The days are very long, and I have hardly been getting any sleep, but hey...that's life. On the home front: It's not so hott...but it's getting better. I recieved a bit of advice, when I wasn't really looking for any, and it's helped. A lot. It was so obvious... God's like that, sometimes. Sometimes, there's this question I have that seems so complex and difficult to answer... And then God's like, "Ummm...duh!" and I'm like, "Wow...I'm an idiot."
But I still need prayer. Hey, I always need prayer.
See ya tomorrow, Youth Kidds.
With double 'd's.
Yeah, I don't know what that was, either.
See ya. | | |
| [insert huge sigh]
I am quite sad. Because I made a really sweet friend on this trip....who lives in Virginia. o.O
But it was so much fun! And I have pictures! And...and... There was a ventriloquist, so that was cool. Oh! And I MISS ALEEEEEEEEEEEEEX!
-sobs-
Okay, I'm done. Anyway, I'd put the pictures here, but why do that when I can just bring them to church with me? Especially because you can't see any of the underwater ones unless I scan them, which I am /not/ in the mood to do. Ever. -_-
I hope you guys had a terrifical week, because I did. And, of course, the youth group leader dude(Jason) started the week off with.... [insert dramatic music] --
TRUE LOVE WAITS!
Bet you didn't see that coming, huh? xD
And I climbed on some really huge rocks, and had a near death experience, and was saved by Anders(a really small-looking guy with some insane STRENGTH). This kid held me up with one hand. ONE HAND! That was on a youth excursion to the B. V. I. We had to go through a cave to get to a beach called Devil's Bay.... It was full of Jellyfish around the rocks, but it was SOOOOOO pretty!
Oh, and I went star gazing and saw a shooting star(like six of them), and I saw a flying fish, and I sat all the way in the front of the ship, and I saw a setting sun whose rays were spread out on the cloud on top of it...and it looked like the Japanese flag. All for the first time.
All with Alex.
I cried before I even got off the ship. -continues to cry-
But I stole his "Axe", so it's okay. ^.^ Because he always smelled so good.
And I met a famous guy. His name is Steve Amerson. He sang on a whole bunch of old Disney movies, like Beauty and the Beast, and the Little Mermaid, and Aladdin and stuff. And he also sang on MIB, and on a famous new movie that I can't remember. But he's good. And I met his son, Matt. Who is an actor, and also good.
That's all I have to say, really. =D See ya soon!

| Oh gosh. Leaving tomorrow for airport. 3 a.m. It would be fun, you know. I get to take a short(ish) trip, get off, take another short(SHORT) trip, and then...
End up http://www.travelshop.de/kreuzfahrten/hal/zuiderdam/zuiderdam170.jpg
There.
And http://www.hollandamerica.com/fivestarfleet/zuiderdampr/images/g_zu_atrium.jpg
That is the first thing you see when you board. 11 levels. Glass elevators(on the OUTSIDE of the ship) two swimming pools, a spa, 4 5-star restaraunts, a room with a balcony, TONS of Spiritual Growth(Chuck Swindoll and his team), etc.
The problem:
I'm afraid of planes. Like, so afraid that it makes me sick thinking about boarding them. So afraid that my pulse quickens when someone /talks/ about boarding them. I hate them.
Which is why God gave me Anxiety Medication.
And French Manicures. Because mine makes me feel like a Fairy Princess. Which is irrational and most likely a side effect of the nauseating fear. Or my meds.
Be sure to stop by often, over the next week, as I will be posting SWEET pictures(white sand beaches, folks) on this very site. I hope you all enjoy it very much.
But be in serious prayer for me. And for the safety of everyone going on this trip. And for the people that get on that ship without Christ, because Chuck's gonna need it. ^^
Love you guys sooooooooooooooo much!
Oh, and if you have anything you want to share about the Beach Trip...-nudge, nudge- I'd love to hear it. =3 | | |
| Well, today was...uneventful. As usual.
I got up, ate breakfast(eggs and ham...too bad they weren't green), worked on my project, yelled at my dogs for being idiots, and got online. Whoopee.
Oh, I'm gonna be at work, tomorrow, so you should all come visit me. Because I'm always so bored, up there. And I can get you some sweet discounts. ^^ Mommy said so.
9-5
Come. Or I will be forced to take drastic measures.
Bai.

| Okay, well, since all of you have been bugging me for the past week or so...
Dum da da dum da da duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum!
My entry. Ta da. Whoo and hoo. Yippee.
Well, nothing exciting is happening, obviously, and my life's boring as ever. Kasey taught me a new way to slice apples, and she insists that they taste like chips when they're eaten that way. I told her that, no, they did not taste like chips, they taste like thinly sliced apples. And she told me to shut up. And this was at two or so in the morning.
Well, that's it.
See ya. | | |
